Although we hope to move the current development driver to a stable release very soon. Just a few days ago we received a firmware update from a chip manufacturer so we have to upgrade our driver again. After this we probably move the entire version to stable.
Any plan to upgrade the windows driver with the new firmware, or is it not necessary for windows?? And any update on the OSX development??

Hello,
I have notice that when the device is idle, no application running on it, I gets about 96 wakeups per second that get passed to mediasrv. The output of powertop is:
13.8% ( 95.9) USB device 1-3.1 : Sundtek Medi98042982 (Sundtek)
13.8% ( 95.9) mediasrv
this have a high impact on the battery life and would like to know if are there any plan to improve this. I have tried both latest sundtek_installer_100506 and sundtek_installer_development.sh with the same result. Any idea?

My montly post, asking for info... could it be possible to relase whatever and let the community take care of the development??? I mean I don't need the all the network funcionality before being able to play locally on OSX. Could you release something for make the stick usable under OSX, and then improve it as much as you want??

Should I forget about this and just go for ElGato??? Anyway, thanks for your effort, but I suppose that cross-platform drivers is just utopic thinking.

Hello, I'm running kernel 2.6.32.10, and would like to keep running 2.6.32.x series, has the isochronous bug being solved in 32.11 or 32.12?? If not, do you have a patch against 2.6.32.x series that fixes this?
If running in iso mode DVBT does not work, can tune with tzap but mplayer and xine fails when playing. It get fixed if I switch to bulk mode, but it gives worse quality, the image just stall for half a second every three or four seconds.

So, any timeline for the OSX app & driver? I think that some people bought the Gold version (maybe I was the only one???) in order to get support under all OS, but currently you are completely focused on linux development. I know your background is more used to that, but I hope we get as good support under OSX and Windows as under Linux.
