VLC und DVB C

hallo zusammen,

ich kriege DVB C mit VLC  nicht zum laufen. 
Kaffeine geht ;
mit Kaffeine aufgenommene HDTV Dateien kann ich wunderbar abspielen.

aber DVB C mit VLC krieg ich nicht hin - hab schon div. Versionen von channels.conf mit w-scan erzeugt - aber geht nicht.

meine Frage:  geht DVB C mit  VLC  1.1.4    und xubuntu  10.10  64 bit  überhaupt ?  gibt es einen Trick  ?

noch eine Frage: mit einer PVR 350 Karte kann ich wunderbar  " cat /dev/video0 > /media/......mpg"
 aufnehmen . Geht das auch ( und wenn ja, wie )  mit  cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/???   > /media/....mpg    ?

Weiss jemand was ?

VLC kann man mit DVB-C direkt verwenden ohne channels.conf.

Analog TV kann man mit mencoder aufnehmen (beispiele hierfür finden Sie wenn sie im Forum nach mencoder suchen).

ich hab auch schon probiert den Sender direkt in VLC einzugeben >>  hat auch nicht funktioniert.

Meine channels.conf  funktioniert mit GXINE!!!!!

das funktioniert, aber es werden scheinbar alle Sender auf der eingestellten Frequenz gespeichert. Ich habe es nicht hingebracht mit mediaclient oder dvbtune einen einzelnen Sender einzustellen und aufzunehmen. Geht das überhaupt

Die Performance lässt jedoch mit VLC 1.1.4 zu wünschen übrig, das hatte schon viel besser funktioniert...

Mit den aktuellen Treibern scheint das jedoch zu funktionieren

ja., mit dem neuesten Treiber  "zuckt vlc wenigstens"

es kommt ein Bild, aber das stockt fürchterlich.
