Tuner options with Xtrend stb

Hi there,
i have a 'Sundtek MediaTV PRO' usb tuner connected to my Xtrend ET9200.
in the specifications of this tuner it reads: (DVB-C/T/T2, FM-Radio, AnalogTV)
if i open 'Sundtek Control-Center', i can only choose from three options: DVB-C, DVB-T and DVB-S/SVB-S2
is it possible to add more options like DVB-T2 and AnalogTV ?
or are these options not supported or possible with an Xtrend box ?

DVB-T2 is tunneled through DVB-T (this is the current way they support DVB-T2), so just select DVB-T in the Controlcenter - This only applies to models which support DVB-T2, this applies to your tuner.

Just some general information, old DVB-T tuners do not support DVB-T2 (neither the tunneling feature).

AnalogTV will not be supported by enigma2, however we are working on our own Player for those tuners which will be settopbox like and support all the features, I can't say more about this yet since it's work in progress on our side at the moment.

The drivers are complete for those tuners (also on enigma2 settopboxes), but Enigma2 does not take the full advantage of everything (again that's the reason why we are working on our own player for it).

hi there, i have one more question. this time it's about the Sundtek Control-Center plugin.
if my info is right, than this plugin is made by Sundtek.
my Question is this: is it possible to show some kind of message,(when choosen DVB-T) that
"DVB-T2 reception is also possible, if the tuner supports it." ?

Well yes it would be possible, you can also try to change the tuner mode to DVB-T2 explicitly in the tuner configuration, or for more advanced users to connect with Telnet and run "/opt/bin/mediaclient -e" on it (it will show all the capabilities of the tuner).
