DM800HD DVB-S with Sundtek S2 Usb tuner

Hi All,

This is my first post here.


I have a Dreambox 800HD running Openpli 2.1 with DVB-S Tuner and that fine. I have recently puchased   Sundtek SkyTV Ultimate IV (DVB-S/S2), and the stick works fine in a PC but I wanted to set the DM up as a Dual Tuner.

I installed drivers and pannel using SSI Tools, set the setting to Autostart plugin the stick and restarted the box now all seems fine I can see an addtional Tuner in my Config.


Here is the strange thing, the USB tuner does not seem to detected anything connected to the tuner, als want setting the diseq manually is syas scanning failed.

Does anyone know why this is and how i can fix this?

Can you contact us via Skype-Chat (sundtek)?
Since you write it in english here I guess you are not using the standard satellites in Germany, so the standard test procedures won't apply in your case.

Also is this a DM800 HD SE or really an old DM800 HD Box?

I'm using 13,19.2,23,5 and 28.2, so basic setup on a desque switch. You are Correct this is a DM 800, I also tried this on a DM800 SE with an internal DVB-C tuner but it had the same result. With a internal DVB-S2 tuner it is easier for me to trouble shoot.
