Kann Dreambox DM800 einen Sundtek Stick übers Netzwerk nutzen?

Hallo,

ich betreibe aktuell meinen Sundtek SkyTV Ultimate IV (DVB-S/S2) in einem RaspberryPi. Das funktioniert alles wirklich prima.

Mir schwebt folgendes vor:

- Für den Sundtek im RPI möchte ich den Netzwerk-Modus aktivieren
- Auf einer alten Dreambox DM800 möchte ich diesen Stick per Netzwerk einbinden


* Geht das so?

* Ist die Wiki-Seite für die Dreambox noch aktuell? Dort ist die Rede von sundtek_installer_development.sh... Oder kann man jetzt den "normalen" sundtek_netinst.sh verwenden?

* Danach auf der Dreambox sicherlich noch die /etc/sundtek.conf mit der Netzwerkverbindung anlegen, oder?

* Wie ist das dann mit den erwähten "Autostart" Scripten? Brauche ich die auch noch? Welches Script wäre denn für die Verbindung per Netzwerk?

du kannst es versuchen.

sundtek_installer_development, sundtek_netinst.sh etc. sind alles das gleiche. Wir haben die Installationsroutinen vor Jahren angepasst damit die Installationsroutine immer gleich bleibt.

Via Netzwerksupport sollte es klappen.

Solltest du damit Probleme haben melde dich am Besten via Skype Chat (Sundtek).

Installiere den Treiber aber am Besten via Sundtek Controlcenter, und stell von dort aus einfach mal alles ein.

Wow!!! Hat super geklappt.

Ich habe auf der Dreambox einfach das

http://www.sundtek.de/media/enigma2-plugin-extensions-sundtekcontrolcenter_current_all.ipk

installiert und dann alles (Treiberinstallation, Konfiguration) über das Control Center auf der Dreambox ausgeführt.

Bis jetzt sieht es gut aus. Eure Treiber, der Netzwerk-Modus und der super Support sind wirklich 1A!

In our household two Sundtek DVB-C Sticks (III) are succesfully active, in network mode, through a Synology-NAS.
Would it be possible to connect a third stick in USB mode directly to my Dreambox?
If so, how to install that tuner>?
As far as i know the Sundtek Control Center offers only the possiblity of running two sticks....

Thanx for your comments!
I am still figuring out how to update drivers and present version of the SSC-plugin.
Plugin said that diver update(s) are available and moreover a new version of the Sundtek Control Center.

However...when i renew both (through Bouquet + and/or additional menu) everything seems to be the same (information of new driver and new SSC have not disappeared)
Of course i restarted the box after installations.

Would you please help what is wrong?

I had a quick look in your software corner in the meantime and found the specific new SSC-ipk!
After installation the new SSC is visible.
I am curious if the third USB-tuner is running as smoothly as both via network

Sorry but i did not succeed in enabling the third (DVB-C silver stick) to run.
I inserted the stick when the box was off.
When the box was "on air" i pushed green button (auto start), a pop up followed saying that no stick was found and the confoguration was written without it.

Pushing blue and yellow buttons did not do the trick neither...

My questions would be:
a. is the number of tuners in a Dreambox maybe limited to four?
b. is the silver Sundtek DVB-C still being supported for this purpose?

I hope you are able to advise me what to do to get the extra tuner working properly.

Dream confirmed only 2 additional tuners seem to be supported on the DM800 HD SE, it might be possible that they will add more in the future ... (technically it is possible)

I am afraid there is something wrong with the SSC.
My friend (DM 7020HD, first edition) tried to run a third stick in network mode.
Also in his configuration the third stick refused to appear in the plugin.

Please advise

That's a development snapshot at the moment, it will only show up as many tuner interfaces as your box supports
