Whats the different between this and the pro. Do i have a old model?

Is it true that this support S2?

Sundtek MediaTV Pro Supports DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-T2, AnalogTV, FM Radio, Composite and S-Video

Those 2 devices do not support DVB-S/S2

I use openpli 4.0 on xtrend et9500. When i swith from a channel  dvb-t to a dvb-s2 channel dvb-s2 the box become slow. and does not react for a period of time.

There seems to be an issue with the PID filters. I think the Xtrend Team is supportive but we haven't had any contact for a longer time with them (more like a year).

Maybe you can post it in their forum pointing out that there is an issue with uncleared PIDs, normally if you switch back to DVB-S/S2 the driver should not be used anymore. This works with other Settopboxes (eg. Dream, VU+).
