Sundtek MediaTV Pro (Europe) / Re:unsuccessful frequency scan
« am: Januar 15, 2018, 11:06:54 Nachmittag »
Hi, this is what I tried before.
Actually previously I tried to scan for the channels with the dongle directly attached to the Rpi, but the results are unfortunately the same.
Anyway, tomorrow I'll remove the usb hub (the Rpi is on a remote site) and I'll let you know.
Is there a way to increase logging?
More general question:
- how does it work the Sundtek? What is the role of mediasrv and mediaclient?
- I noticed the link of the service /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/sundtek.service was broken, and I had to link by hand to /opt/doc/sundtek.service. Before it was pointing to /usr/lib/systemd/system/sundtek.service. Is that a known issue? I have a suspect the installation didn't go through fine. How can I check for that? If I I fire /opt/bin/mediaclient -e I get the following output:
**** List of Media Hardware Devices ****
