Nah, for sure there's no defect.

The host system is too slow to pick up the transport stream, anyway we might try to slow down the stream speed a little bit.

We have only sold 10 SkyTV 8A tuners (which your unit is).

The regular SkyTV 8 Tuners are revision B models and easier to assemble, and also use components which are used in all our new and current designs nowadays.
