Hi,

Ich versuche so gut wie möglich Deutsch zu schreiben, don't blame me for syntax Fehler

Ich habe seit ein paar Monaten einige usb Sticks von Sundtek.
Sie functionieren perfect in Dreamboxen (DM800SE, DM8000).
Jetzt habe ich zur test eine Clarktech et9000.

Die Treiber lassen sich installieren aber es gibt ein Problem.
Die Tuner wird in Linux und Enigma "gesehen", aber es functioniert nicht.
Ich versuche so gut wie möglich das Problem zu verfassen.

Sieht gut aus, aber MIPSel (little endian) detected.
So es wird kein usbkhelper installiert, (für Dreambox u.a. notwendig habe Ich verstanden)
Ich habe versucht usbkhelper-dm8000.ko manuel zu installieren aber da gibt es eine Fehler Meldung.

however the question is if clarktech supports the vtuner interface in /dev

what does following command show up?

find /dev | grep vtuner

this interface is used for registering the USB tuner as local tuner.
If it is not available it might be worth to get in contact with clarktech and asking them for support.

ET9000 is officially supported now, however Clarke Tech needs to improve their vtuner a little bit for HDTV support (according to your messages). SDTV works fine.

What is working on dvb-c:

- SDTV channels, video and audio ok (lipsync ok on HDMI output). Zap times almost as fast as with the buildin tuners.

- PIP with SDTV channels ok (dvb-s and dvb-c mix), sometimes HD channel on main and SD in PIP works. HDTV on main and HDTV in PIP doesn't work. This is a problem with the ET-9000 drivers (or hardware). Notice: the ET-9000 has two decoders, so full PIP shouldn't be a problem.
 
What doesn't work:

- HDTV channels, video is ok but audio stutters.

Streaming HDTV DVB-C to pc is perfect (no audio problem).
When I record an HD channel the audio is ok at playback!

I asked the developers over there to look at the vtuner implementation.

Someone called bla666 claimes that everything's running smooth with a "small patch" (with Sundtek DVB-S2 tuners). I am currious about this patch but did not get an answer yet.

Maybe you can try:

this should increase the decoder buffer (if that feature is available on the CT)

bei ARDhd & ZDFhd bekomme ich kein Ton weder über HDMI noch über den Lichtleiterausgang? der Ton z.B. von einem dritten Programm ist da

wir können das zwar nicht bestätigen da wir keine ET9000 besitzen aber es sollte irgendwo eine Option "AC3 Downmix" geben.

- selbst ein Treiberupdate "et9000-drivers-gcc44-20110314" brachte nicht

- AC3 mix ist aktiv

 ???vielleicht hilft das ja weiter : der Ton kommt auch nicht über die analogen Chinchanschlüsse "stereo wurde ausgewählt"

Wie sieht es denn aus wenn die Sender aufgenommen werden, und anschließend am PC oder auf der Settopbox abgespielt werden?

Das Problem ist eindeutig ein Problem von Clarketech, Audio ist in digitaler Form im Datenstrom enthalten. Wenn dieser nicht abgespielt wird dann gibt es probleme beim Demuxer bzw. Dekoder von der Settopbox.
Da diese Settopbox jedoch auch annähernd die gleiche Hardware verwendet wie die Dreambox und andere STBs handelt es sich hierbei wohl ausschließlich um ein Softwareproblem der Broadcom Treiber.
