(ruckel ruckel)

Gruesse aus Kopenhagen!

Newest driver did the job!
Did the mistake of downloading the driver from the webpage instead the forum->driver section.
Thank you very much!

Sundtek MediaTV Pro (Europe) / Laggy Playback on Ubuntu

Hi there,

after trying DVB-T on win7 without any success. I have now also problems under linux (latest ubuntu).
Analogue works fine using tv-time, but playback for DVB-T does not work.
I can detect all channels, no problem here, but the playback does not work.
I tried now several applications, the only app which works is me-tv until I try to change the channel.
Kaffeine and mplayer no go, argh this is becoming frustrating!!
PLEASE HELP!
Here the output of the mplayer.

**** Your system is too SLOW to play this!  ****
           ************************************************

Possible reasons, problems, workarounds:
- Most common: broken/buggy _audio_ driver
  - Try -ao sdl or use the OSS emulation of ALSA.
  - Experiment with different values for -autosync, 30 is a good start.
- Slow video output
  - Try a different -vo driver (-vo help for a list) or try -framedrop!
- Slow CPU
  - Don't try to play a big DVD/DivX on a slow CPU! Try some of the lavdopts,
    e.g. -vfm ffmpeg -lavdopts lowres=1:fast:skiploopfilter=all.
- Broken file
  - Try various combinations of -nobps -ni -forceidx -mc 0.
- Slow media (NFS/SMB mounts, DVD, VCD etc)
  - Try -cache 8192.
- Are you using -cache to play a non-interleaved AVI file?
  - Try -nocache.

Sundtek MediaTV Pro (Europe) / Re:Media Center Windows7 (x64)

Thanks for the quick reply, no luck though.
Had to install the windows7 codecs, but it didn't help.

I'll give it a try on my ubuntu box, that should work!

Thanks again!

I've a problem regarding the mediacenter in win7.
I am aware of the digital signature issue and used the "F8" workaround.
Device is detected and marked "This device is working properly".
When I attempt to start the media center and select the setup TV option it produces an error saying that no TV device was detected.
Arghh what do I do wrong, please help.

/Thank you
