Installation auf einer Dreambox

Um die Installation zu vereinfachen gibt es fuer Windows und Mac einen Sundtek Settopbox Installer.

Diese Beschreibung richtet sich an Leute die 2 oder mehrere USB DVB Sticks installieren wollen.

Sofern das jeweilige System mehrere Tuner unterstuetzt koennen diese wie folgt in das System eingebunden werden:

Ueberpruefen ob die TV Sticks auch registriert wurden:

Bitte beachten das derzeit noch nicht alle Dreambox Systeme mehrere DVB-C TV Sticks unterstuetzen, auch funktionieren derzeit noch nicht alle VU+ Images mit DVB-C - bei VU+ funktioniert soweit das PLi Image, an VTI wird derzeit gearbeitet

We had that issue already -- wrong driver on a certain Dreambox image which we didn't test yet (so the installer doesn't recognize the image).

Which dreambox image are you using?

using a dreambox DM800 with OpenPli from 14-09-2010

is the latest pli version V1.0 working ?

They are all supposed to work but once the installer detects a DM800 only the Gemini driver will be installed.

If you have some time you might contact our support (skype "Sundtek") so we can modify our installer to detect the correct system and pick the working driver from the installer package on your Dreambox.

we are aware that our devices are usually used outside of "working hours" so we are prepared for that. You might just add us in skype and send us a message.

first I tried the Gemini formware on my dm800 and the C tuner works perfect on the system 

i'll wait for a update for Pli and till that Gemini stays on my dreambox

its not working has never worked up to now

I only get these errors

FE_READ_BER failed (Device or resource busy)
FE_READ_SNR failed (Device or resource busy)
FE_READ_SNR failed (Device or resource busy)

witch result in gogles and enigma2 hanging

tried several vu+duo images

it should just work as expected if not write a bugreport. However there have been quite a few releases in between already.

Me and my friend have a DM800 each that we are very pleased with except for the fact that it is a single tuner box.
I'm using Gemini 4.7 and he 5.1
Could it possible to use Sundtek SkyTV Ultimate (DVB-S/S2) as asecond tuner so that it's possible to record one channel on one transponder and look at another channel on a different transponder?

DM800HD works yes, but the performance (channel switching) is not that good.
Another restriction on DM800HD, you cannot watch and record 2 HDTV channels at the same time

DM800SE works much better, no restrictions so far.

but both are supported.
