No channels found in MCE (Win 7)
« am: April 04, 2010, 01:13:22 Nachmittag »
Hi.

I have installed a tuner on a win 7 (x64) PC, but when I try to scan for channels in MCE it finds none. The tuner is found by MCE, but no channels. (searching for DVB-T channels)

I can see the device listed as a "USB 2885 device" in win 7 and it lists the driver as installed correctly.

Is there some steps needed for it to work under win 7?

I have tried, on the same PC, to boot up in Linux (kubuntu 9.10) and there the tuner works. Using w_scan it finds all the channels and I can view them in kaffeine.

I have checked the frquencies scanned on both OS and they are the same.

As far as I can see you are a customer of one of the first DVB-C/T USB Sticks. You might contact our technical support via Skype (ID: sundtek) in order to fix up the device to support Windows (a Firmware update is required in order to get the DVB-C/T only devices work which have been sold before 24th March 2010).
Failure is a good thing! I'll fix it
