mpeg4 on dvb-t freezing video

Using MediaTV Pro III (EU)]  DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-T2, ANALOG-TV, FM-RADIO, OSS-AUDIO, RDS
In gigablue quad hdplus for Freeview in UK.

Problem: watching "That's TV 3" only works for a few seconds and then the box becomes really slow to respond to the remote control and the picture freezes.

Seems due to https://rxtvinfo.com/2025/freeview-technical-upgrade-could-make-older-screens-go-blank/

How can I help diagnose further?

I'm surprised that Gigablue seems to work at all. Can you join the Discord chat so we can discuss that issue there?

Remote access to that box eg. via a PC/RustDesk and telnet would for sure be helpful too.
