Sundtek Streaming Server (Englisch / English)

I've started the streaming server on a linux however it doesn't work correctly. I've scanned the channels and created the playlist but it doesn't play on vlc.

On the router I've no clue why the server does't start.  The driver is installed however when I run /opt/bin/mediaclient --installstreamer there is no error but it doesn't start.



Can anyone help me?

Will there be support for Synology DSM 7.0, which is now in Preview state? I use Sundtek driver and DTV USB stick daily for TV.
Or will "old" driver work in DSM 7.0? Can I upgrade to DSM 7.0?

Of course the driver will also work with the new DSM we have no dependency on the Kernel-Version.

unfortuntely I was very difficult to find because it is not displayed on drivers page ! I found it in the forum after reading and translating a lot of page in german.
Can you please publish all updates on drivers page ?
And how can I change streamserver webpage from german to english.

Has anyone running DSM 7.0 Beta with the streaming server?
There are notes on the synology hompage:
"USB devices (Wi-Fi dongle, Bluetooth dongle, 3G/4G dongle, USB DAC/speaker, and DTV dongle) are no longer supported. If your Synology NAS is currently connected via a wireless dongle, it will be disconnected after the update."
Or is there no difference to the DSM 6.x?

I'm running 0.38 Sundtek driver, but was installed on 6.2 and then I upgraded to 7.0 beta. No problems with the driver.

Whats NEW with 0.41 driver which came out today? Can I update or better wait?

We only update the installer, another user installed the driver on volume3 but the installer only supported volume1 before. There was no menuentry, but there will be some more updates within the next days (for our streamingserver).

When I try to update on 7.0 beta it said: Invalid file format. Please contact the package developer.

Yes the package format is not valid for DSM 7.0 at the moment, we don't know how to fix it yet and are waiting for further information.

We will only update our NAS once DSM 7.0 is fully released (No Beta anymore).
We have tested the driver on DSM 7.0 Beta (on a customer's system - the driver works)

Are you using any other 3rd party packages with the Beta? (So we could have a look what the difference is)

No I dont use any 3rd party app, because there is no. I run "old" apps through docker.

Da DSM 7 seit gestern verfügbar ist, das Paket wurde für DSM 7 aktualisiert.

Nach der Installation muss man sich via SSH / Telnet auf dem NAS als "admin" einloggen und folgenden Befehl starten:
sudo /var/packages/sundtek/scripts/allowroot.sh

anschließend muss der Treiber neu gestartet werden.

Since DSM 7 is available since yesterday, the driver Package is updated for DSM7.

After the installation a shellscript has to be started:
Log in via SSH / Telnet and run:
sudo /var/packages/sundtek/scripts/allowroot.sh

and restart the driver.
