Stick is directly mounted to the wall mount.

Hmm seems like the signal strength is strong enough (MER indicates that and the tuner locks onto the frequency).
However that the Signal Quality is so low indicates that there is some noise on the cable which the tuner cannot handle.

There can only be 2 possibilities:
1. Faulty tuner, which would be odd since the MER is already okay and those things are handled within the Chip itself.
2. Too noisy cable, problem with grounding

I have tried the stick in somebody else's home and read signal gave me 100%.
So indeed the cable must be noisy in my home, strange I have good reception on my TV.
How do I get rid of this noise. I have checked the wallmount, it is directly connected to my providers cable. The connection looks fine.
My provider's manual says "You should only connect the groundcable if your wallmount is in the fusebox". My wallmount is in the livingroom, I don't have an earth terminal to connect to. Please help me out.

You might try it with a notebook which is not connected to the powerline to see if that improves the situation?

I guess our upcoming DVB-C devices are more immune against such noisy lines. However you are also the first one reporting such an issue as far as I remember.

I tried the stick on my notebook without powerline, no improvements, same (bad) results. On some frequencies 40% and some 0%.
I have called my provider, but they won`t help me because the stick is not supported by them and my TV and internet connection provided by them work just fine.
Anny other suggestions, the stick is useless for me right now.

Well you need to see that you can get the noise from the Cable, the signal itself is definitely strong enough.
You might try to get some adjustable attenuator (there are some cheap ones available on the market for a few eur).

Otherwise as mentioned we will have some newer models upcoming which are using a different chipset which might improve the situation for you. As mentioned you are the first one having that issue with such a tuner.

Or can you give me some links to a such an attenuator (German webshops will be fine).

Yes, the tuner works perfectly, seems like you have some additional noise on your DVB-C line. We'll see if we can ship back another device with an upgraded chip version (but that's still no guarantee that it will help against the noise on the line)
