Hi,

you can contact us about that topic on Friday (1. February 2019). Basically we support docker systems - but still need to update some installer scripts.

Hi,

What is the best way to contact you ?

Sundtek MediaTV Pro (Europe) / Sundtek install docker
« am: Januar 25, 2019, 01:39:50 Nachmittag »
Hi,
I am trying to install the driver in a docker (  linuxserver/tvheadend alpine 3.8 ) but get a error :

adding /opt/bin to environment paths
unpacking...
checking system... Your system is currently unsupported
also check that this installer is not corrupted due a bad download
/tmp must not be mounted with noexec flag, otherwise the installer
won't work
In case you do not have enough free space on your system you might
use the network installer
http://sundtek.de/media/sundtek_netinst.sh
in case your system is really unsupported please contact
our support via mail <kontakt@sundtek.de>
removing driver.....

Hello,

I want to use the sundtek usb dvb-c dongle with Unraid and a docker version of tvheadend.
The driver can be installed on unraid and its recognized by it , but not showing up in the docker/tvheadend.

The log of tvheaned says : Aug 29 21:08:32 NAS01 tvheadend[19]: linuxdvb: unable to open /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0

( Docker : https://www.docker.com/what-docker )

after a reboot :

root@et8000:~#  cat /proc/bus/nim_sockets
NIM Socket 0:
        Type: DVB-C
        Name: TDA10024
        Has_Outputs: yes /opt/bin/mediaclient --mount=192.168.1.200

        Frontend_Device: 0
        I2C_Device: 3

Then i run /opt/bin/mediaclient --mount=192.168.1.200 with output :
driver is possibly not started, trying to start now...
Successfully mounted: 192.168.1.200

then  cat /proc/bus/nim_sockets gives the following output :
NIM Socket 0:
        Type: DVB-C
        Name: TDA10024
        Has_Outputs: yes
        Frontend_Device: 0
        I2C_Device: 3
NIM Socket 1:
        Type: DVB-C
        Name: Sundtek DVB-C (192.168.1.200) (USB)
        Has_Outputs: no
        Frontend_Device: 1
        I2C_Device: -1
NIM Socket 2:
        Type: DVB-C
        Name: Sundtek DVB-C (192.168.1.200) (USB)
        Has_Outputs: no
        Frontend_Device: 2
