Hello,

I install Sundtek DVB-C on my Synology nas.
I put network enabled and my dreambox can connect it and this works okay.

Now I install TVheadend but it does not see the DVB-C tuner.
I stopped the tuner, start it again no success.

Do I need to switch off network enable?
And can I still use my dreambox to connect true it or what good be the reason that TVheadend does not see the DVB-C stick.

I did not reboot the NAS yet.

I fix it, what I did:

Clean again the box, but now I used the program SSI for windows and with this program it works.

I don't understand why the .ipk files did not work, also the .sh file did not work, but now it is okay.

I update my DM800 box from open pli 2.1 to open pli 4.0

I install the sundtek app and out of the app I install the driver.

The USB light is burning blue and I see under the information SUNDTEK usb dvb-c on B
When I zapp to a DVB-C channel, you see that it is starting to use B but on my screen I getting:

no data on transponder timeout reading pat

the cable is plugin directly and still the same problem.
The cable is working, becausse when I put in on my provider device I get screen.
Only not on my DM800 openpli 4.0 DVB-C sundtek

Unfurttenly it not works

This is what I do:

Login with ssh on my asus router.

> wget http://www.sundtek.de/media/sundtek_netinst.sh

> chmod 755 sundtek_netinst.sh

> ./sundtek_netinst.sh -admin

> mediaclient --enablenetwork=on &

Now my box have the connection with the stick.
When exit the ssh connection with the asus router, the box stops no screen any more from the dvb-c stick

I also try the first steps again and after that this command:

> /tmp/opt/bin/mediasrv -d

When exit the ssh connection with the asus router, the box stops no screen any more from the dvc-c stick

it works only when I do all first steps, without exit the console with my asus router ( ssh).

In your screenshot I see run cmd but on my asus router I don't have but you have also the merlin firmware in it.

No I did not.

It is running when I leave my ssh connection open with my mac, but when I exit my session than it stops also the dvb-c stick.

But when my terminal is open, than it works very good.

Hello all,

Who can help me.

I install the sundtek on my asus rt-n66u but I have some problems.

What I did:

$ wget http://www.sundtek.de/media/sundtek_netinst.sh
$ chmod 755 sundtek_netinst.sh
$ ./sundtek_netinst.sh admin

mediaclient --enablenetwork=on

now it works on my asus router, I can use my dreambox to connect it.

BUT the problem is, when I close my terminal session from my mac true my asus router the mediaclient stop and my dreambox don't have the connection true the stick.

When I do again the complete process it works again, tail I close my ssh connection from the asus and it stops.

Ich habe einen asus router rt-66u
Auf diesem Router habe ich die Firmware von merlin.

Kann ich die sundtek DVB-C-Stick auf die asus installieren und eine Netzwerkverbindung von meiner dm800 nach de asus router meine DVB-C-Sender anrufen?

Is it possible to install this driver on a ubuntu server.
Than connect the stick to my local cable provider with DVB-C

After that I want connect my dreambox 800 to the ubuntu server and watch television over lan to the stick?

Also can I zap?
Can I also use a other dreambox to connect to the stick also?

Is there a how to do it?

Hello,

I install the sundtek driver on a ubuntu pc.
Now I want connect my dreambox with the sundtek control center to the ubuntu pc.

can this work?

I type the ip number of my ubuntu pc on the dreambox in the sundtek control panel, I restart but I don'n get any thing to see?

I restart the ubuntu pc, but still noting, do I need to do more things?
