i have read that, but you must do that when the sundtek is connected?

and is this (the latest) driver for vu duo with pli?

The device should be connected, but it's not mandatory (for the initial setup)

The latest driver is for all systems yes.

i have now the sundtek put in the front of the vu duo
and the latest driver is in the vu duo
i dont see a light on the stick.
i reboot the vu , see now the tuner c is activated
what is the next step?

You need to manually scan for a transponder and enable the network scan.

The LED is only active when the Stick is active. In Standby Mode there is no active LED.
