Hi,
this is my first post on the sundtek forum.
It is about my, Sundtek USB DVB C / DVB T Stick.
I have Dreambox 800HD se DVB S2 with Openpli 4.0 on it.
I have installed the latest Sundtek drivers with the SSI.exe
I use the stick with my dreambox but lately, if i swith from my stick DVB C to
Dreambox tuner DVB s2 and back to DVB C, my Sundtek USB stick switches to DVB T
What i do it did not resolve, I can only switch it back from tuner configuration menu to DVB C save it and restart it.
Another isseu is when i restart it i can watch TV through DVB C but when i check my tuner
configuration menu my Sundtek is switch back to DVB T. After a while the channels on DVB C will not work and i have to restart again.
PLS help i can not find any answer to resolve this....
Thanks for any help.

We are able to reproduce this problem, and we're looking into it

And do you have a slotuion, i ordered beceasue off this problem a new media stick from you SUNDTEK... But have 2 Sticks with the same problem.
I am awaiting now 2 weeks for a solution. Sorry but very bad after service....
-
Bad afterservice that we don't fix your Dreambox Image?!
Sorry this issue is not related to us, it is only good willing that we will have a look at it once we have time but we also have other topics to work on. So first of all don't blame us about that, second of all kindly ask if we have time to look into that.
If you drive your car on a bad road you won't blame the manufacturer of your car that it's his fault, with electronic and software it seems to be a little bit more difficult to separate the companies which manufacture the road and the car. In our case customers like you contact us to advance the car to fly over the road in order to fix the problem.
I think you have created a ticket about this issue, it is still open on our side and we will have a look at it once we have some more time for it.
We already had a look at it and couldn't figure out any problem with our driver but we know that there's something wrong with the Image.
So be a little bit more patient about that.

Do not try to blame me for not working media stick, it is sofware problem. You made the software for this stick or not.. That i buy a care with crappy software is not the problem of the buyer but the bad service of the seller. Beceause of software what is not working properly.
You sell this stichk wit the assumtion that it works with dreambox openpli...
Do i read before i buy anywhere on this site that it has problems with openpli 4.0
Did you anywhere have written about this isseu. So do not blame me for your bad info before selling. And not solving the problem. So yes you deliver crappy aftersale service.
Have nice day

We will stop this here, and we don't want to support customers like that sorry.
Stay friendly and have some understanding or go somewhere else.
Those settopbox images are under constant development, they are also not bugfree all the time.
Also the settopbox manufacturers update their drivers regularly and some of them introduce bugs and fix them again.
I'm going to close this Thread since we don't want to continue a discussion like that, we have other friendly customers to support (your ticket is still open and it's still on our list - even though this is not even our driver problem as far as we have verified this - we'll check it further once we have some more time).
After a reboot our device clearly shows up as DVB-C and not DVB-T indeed we have no idea why Enigma2 shows up DVB-T on your side this can only be a problem with the Image itself -- which again is not our fault.

The bug is in OpenPLI not in our driver

Just for the other ones don't make us angry by accusing us of something we are not in charge of.
If there's a Bug in an image report it on the corresponding forum.
