Ich nutze den Sundtek Media TV Pro USB mit dem Linux VDR. Initialiserung und Sendersuchlauf klappte prima, aber im Betrieb läuft der Media TV Stick nur 3 - 8 Minuten. dann wird er inaktiv. Man muss dann neu starten. Dann geht nichts mehr (Aufnahmen brechen ab, etc..)
Ist der Stick defekt oder gibt es eine Linux Einstellung oder ein Treiber Update, was hier hilft.
P.S. Bin eigentlich Linux Leie und betreibe VDR unter der OMV OpenMeidaVault NAS Server Software im Debian Betriebssystem.

an welcher Hardware verwendest du den Tuner, welche Spezifikationen?
Die Kabel Tuner haben keine Probleme diese sind soweit erprobt, jedoch kann es bei USB 3.0 Probleme geben!
Steckt der Tuner in einem blauen USB Port oder in einem schwarzen?

Ich nutze einen HP Proliant N36L Serverechner. der hat nur USB 2.0 Verbindungen.

Versuche mal Logfiles bereitzustellen
/etc/sundtek.conf
loglevel=min
danach den Treiber neu starten, bzw. das System neu starten.
Die Treiberlog /var/log/mediasrv.log
Und eine Systemlog bereitstellen
z.B auf der Konsole dmesg > /tmp/system.log

Sieht so aus, als wenn USB Verbindung verloren geht.
Systemlog versteh ich nicht, aber USB wird wohl beim start gefunden:

Daher die frage : Kann das helfen, um das Problem zu verstehen?
Ist dr MediaTV Pro defekt, wenn er nach 5 Minuten weggeht (grüne LED geht auch aus)

Stelle den Tuner mal auf Bulk
/opt/bin/mediaclient --transfermode=bulk -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0
und stecke den Tuner neu an

Der Treiber muss natürlich geladen sein, am Besten den Tuner einfach neu anschließen den Befehl starten und den Tuner neu anstecken.

Besten Dank für die Vorschläge. Habe ich so gemacht, ist aber leider mit dem gleichen Ergebnis versehen. Der Tuner verabschiedet sich nach etwa 4 - 6 Minuten.

Du hast den Tuner nicht neu angeschlossen es wurde noch der ISO Modus verwendet

Habe das nochmal gemacht und dann gestartet. Er hat den Befhel auch nun richtig aufgenommen ich habe neu connected.

Was bedeutet dieses Disbling IRQ 17 ?

Ein Controller meldet dem CPU das Daten vorhanden sind, irgendwie kam es dabei wohl zu einer Fehlersituation und der Treiber oder der CPU hat den Interrupt (also die Verbindung von der Hardware zum CPU) abgeschalten bzw. gemeldet das dieser nicht mehr behandelt werden soll.
USB Geräte an sich haben keine Interrupts und keinen direkten Speicherzugriff -- das wird alles über den USB Controller gemacht.
Jedoch haben USB Controller Interrupts um dem CPU zu melden das Daten nun vom USB Gerät empfangen wurden
Bei fehlerhaft unterstützten USB Controllern (also unter anderem auch fehlerhaften USB Controller Treibern) kann es nun vorkommen das irgendetwas aus dem Ruder läuft. Ist der Interrupt zum USB Controller ausgeschalten funktioniert USB nicht mehr richtig.
Falls Du in dem System in ein Bios kannst schau mal was du USB bedingt dort ändern kannst.
