Titel: Do I need a kernel upgrade on my Ubuntu 9.04 installation?
Beitrag von: dengamle am November 26, 2009, 11:06:02 Nachmittag

Hello,

I have just received my Media TV Pro and am about to install the linux drivers, but...

According to:

http://support.sundtek.com/index.php/topic,4.0.html

There is a problem with kernel versions 2.6.27-2.6.28 regarding a memory leak in the usb system.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-16-generic (default I guess, since I did not install any other kernel versions)

Do I need to update my kernel to version 2.6.29+ or has the above version been patched or something to fix the issue?

Best regards

dengamle.

Ubuntu already fixed this issue with that kernel and Ubuntu 9.04
