Titel: Old and new MediaTV at the same time?
Beitrag von: robkds am April 17, 2014, 04:22:08 Nachmittag
Hi there,

I have an older model Sundtek MediaTV Digital Home (USB 2.0) which I bought nine months ago and just bought a new one in the webshop. The new one will ofcource be a Digital Home III model.

Will these two work together in my Xtrend ET9200 receiver? Do I have to tweak the driver of settings or will the newest drivers support this configuration out of the box?

Yes, both models work with the same Linux software package.

I meant at the same time in the same receiver. I just forgot to mention that in my first post.

Example: record one channel and watch another on another frequency.

I don't think that anyone has experience with 2 mixed Tuners in an Xtrend ET9200 yet.

Well, there's news. It works, with the latest drivers. My Xtrend 9200 has 2 built-in DVB-S2 tuners and now 2 USB Sundtek DVB-C tuners, one old and one new.

The old one is tuner C and the new one is tuner D. Tuner D gives no reading about signal quality and zapping is a bit slower than with tuner C. Maybe, with some driver enhancements, it will even perform better.
However, it works for now.
