VU SOLO2:
Linux vusolo2 3.3.8-2.0
Image: OPENSPA Version 3.0
I bought a SundTek Media TV Digital Home (DVB-C/T/T2) and installed.
I follow this steps:
wget http://www.sundtek.de/media/sundtek_installer_development.sh
chmod 755 sundtek_installer_development.sh
./sundtek_installer_development.sh
Installed driver correctly.
Now I created a xml file (cable.xml) with this information:

<cables>
<cable name="CABLE R" satfeed="true" flags="9">
<transponder frequency="706000" symbol_rate="6875000" fec_inner="0" modulation="5"/>
</cable>
</cables>
Copy to /etc/tuxbox , reboot and searching for new channels.
All ok. I found 136 channels (is a cable TV).
BUT ALL CHANNELS ARE PIXELATED (least 2)
Same cable connect to TV works correctly and I watch all channels without pixelated.
Can you help me ?
I don't Know is a image problem (openspa) or a wrong configuration....

Try to connect the tuner directly to the DVB-C plug at the wall.
The sensitivity of those tuners is excellent, you should not have any issues with it, additionally we tested all tuners before we shipped them out, so the only possibility that could be here is that the tuner got damaged during the shipping or something is wrong with the Antenna cable / your signal
Also VU+ Solo should just work fine.
If you cannot fix your issue I propose to ship the tuner back for checking it again

I connect directly and not working.
Signal is good (99%). Connect cable to tv watch correctly.
I try to use TDT USB with a computer with Linux Mint installed.
I install drivers (appears whith /opt/bin/mediaclient --e) and follow this link:

I write:
$ /opt/bin/mediaclient --setdtvmode=DVBC
$ kaffeine
But Kaffeine not detect TDT / USB.
Can I do anything ?

You need to install kaffeine Packages from there: (search for kaffeine)

I try install this:
Neuere Versionen:
http://www.sundtek.de/support/kaffeine_1.2.2-1ubuntu3_amd64.deb
But Linux Mint inform that I have a newer version...

just a newer build but the version should be the same.

I think your product is broken.
Finally, I got it would work in linux, but channels appears pixelated.
Into terminal appears those messages when I watch a HD TV:

we guess so too the device is probably broke during shipping, please contact back via Email for either a refund or a replacement. Something like that is not the normal behavior and no device from the new stock leaves our office without testing.
