Hi,
Do the Sundtek drivers support an FEC of 8/9? It is needed for this multiplex (https://www.lyngsat.com/muxes/Astra-2E_UK_11426-V.html). I'm struggling to tune it, and when using -F 8/9 with mediaclient it says error the FEC value.
This is my device in case it helps:

The driver for this device doesn't use the FEC information submitted by the user, you can just write anything there.
The issue lies within mediaclient itself, FEC 8/9 is just not parsed there and that gives you the error; I think since 2014 we do not have any tuner which uses the FEC user information from the user. The tuner will auto-detect the FEC parameters for the given transponder.
For testing with mediaclient you can just pass any FEC value...

Thanks for the information. You're right, I can tune ok to this channel. I think my problem is an issue with MythTV or Minisatip, not the Sundtek device. I got confused by the error message when trying to tune myself.
Thanks,
Andrew

I will update this, thanks for reporting it. It's more a "optical" issue rather than a "functional" one.
