Good Day
We are considering using the SkyTV Ultimate 8 DVB-S2 in a project, but before we buy a test unit, we have a question.
I would like to know if the SkyTV Ultimate 8 supports MPE data filtering in a Transport Stream in Linux? In other words, does the driver module create a /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0?
If so, we could then create the virtual network interface using dvbnet filter (from the Linux dvb-apps package) and process the MPE data. The MPE data is IP multicast streams. Done this many times with other DVB-S2 receivers, but have never tried the Sundtek before and I am not sure if data reception was built into the Linux driver?
Thank you.

Hi,
due to lack of interest we have not implemented the net devices yet.
Although it would be possible in February 2019, after releasing our 4x USB tuners.

Dear Sundtek Team,
As previously requested, it would be very nice if you could provide a "driver" that would "create" a /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0 node.
Thank you & kind regards.

Hi
I just want to revisit this. Is /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0 supported yet (as per the original question in 2018)?
Thank you.
