Hi Sundtek,
I have connected my USB stick and it starts ok - I install the sundtek center.
Info on Vu+ - Tuner C is the USB stick and default registered as dvb-T:

My problem - when I go into tuner settings and set the TUNER C for dvb-c, only tuner A works. In other words tuner starts "Tuner failed"
Then when I unplug the USB stick it works again.
What should I do ?

What do you want to use DVB-C or DVB-T/T2?

I want to use dvb-C
So at the end I have 3 x dvb-c tuners.

Let me update our windows settopbox installer .. I think I can test it until 10pm today.
The device is in DVB-T2 mode so basically that's the reason.

OK.
When I go into Tuner Settings and put the TUNER-C into DVB-C thats where it fails.
Then the USB tuner works, but it makes TUNER-B fail!
I tried to update to latest Sundtek center as well - still same :/
The windows intaller is another way of installing driver and so on, through windows and not via plugins - correct ?

I just tested the Settopbox Installer and it works properly.
Try to use the Sundtek Settopbox Installer
Windows:

The Sundtek Controlcenter still needs some updates for VU+ boxes, originally it was made for Dreamboxes.
To delete the settings which were made by the sundtek controlcenter, delete /etc/sundtek.conf before using the Settopbox Installer.

I installed everything (checked all)
Autostart tuner dvb-c and so on.
But everything is still the same. (I deleted the Center plugin and the "/etc/sundtek.conf " file.
It starts up, and I see the USB tuner is dvb-t2
:(

Ok, then we have to check it on VU+ Settopboxes seems like they work different here than Dreamboxes.
I'll check that tomorrow morning, just don't have any VU+ set up here at the moment.

Can you update everything using the Settopbox Installer Application?
Does it work now?
You might have to switch the Tuner to DVB-C mode (if it is set to DVB-T2) in the Tuner Configuration
1. Tuner Configuration
2. Sundtek DVB-C
3. Tuner Type DVB-C
Done.
We just added a small update in order to support the Sundtek Control Center properly on VU+ systems.
However the tuner itself just works and worked fine.

It does not work. ???
I installed driver and plugin via SSI.exe - changed to dvb-c in tuner settings and rebooted.
It STILL make Tuner-B go "Tuner failed"
The only thing I can see has changed is that it doesnt say "No stick found" in the plugin - now its says that it has found a USB tuner. It still finds all 3 tuners - but when I record 1 program, changing to use tuner B - it fails! It doesnt try to hook to tuner C (USB).
Aww I just thought it would work now :-(

Did you attach the Antenna to all DVB-C inputs (one to the USB TV Tuner and one to the internal tuner - best way is to use a 2 way splitter)?
Well it just works here we tested OpenPLI 4.0

I have:
Internal:
Tuner A (dvb-c)
Tuner B (dvb-c)
USB:
Tuner C Set to (dvb-c)
I have a splitter already. In the start I tried to make a loop from A -> B -> C. That did not work.
Now I have the splitter setup like this:
1 output to Tuner A -> B (Works fine when Tuner C is not enabled)
1 output direct to Tuner C (works fine, but when connected it makes Tuner B Fail!)
I use all updated (today) OpenPli 4.0 as well.
I will try to contact you on SKype - right now I have to see Brasil - Mexico, though I really would like to have this working.
