Hi there,

the Media TV Digital Home does not have its own forum, so I place my question here. I want to know how well is the Linux support for this device?

Is DVB-C fully supported? I only need the DVB-C part of the device, I won´t use DVB-T. Is the remote control supported? Do I need to setup lirc? Is the driver open or closed source? What about future support with future kernel versions? Will the device work with future kernels?

Regards

DVB-C is very well supported you do not need to set up lirc.

The driver is independent of the Kernelversion used.

We are closed source but very open to support our customers professional and directly, we have been doing it that way for 2 years so far.

Ok, I see. In the forum I see only one Linux driver *.sh file to download. Is this a unified driver for all devices? Or does have each device its own driver package?

This is a unified package for all our USB devices.
