I have a SkyTV Ultimate that has the antenna F connector that gets burning hot.
It all started after watching a DVB-S2 HD channel for almost 2 hours (F1 race): more an more packets started to get lost and at the end no channel could be tuned anymore.
The unit is installed on an HP Microserver Gen8 with ubuntu 16.04.
The USB section seems to be ok:
root@microserver:~# /opt/bin/mediaclient -e

Do I need to run any test to confirm the issue?
I left a message in chat on June 29 and got a mail from Markus (sales@sundtek.com) who sugested that the unit was faulty and could be replaced with the new version but nothing more since then.
I also opened a ticket through the RMA system but all I get is a "404 Not Found"
Can someone please tell me how to proceed?

Is there anybody out there?
I filed a new support ticket (15b5b3b51b3056) friday july 27 but still no answer from you.
I reported the issue over a month ago and I don't know yet what to do.
Please reply.

A new device with the new chipset will be shipped next week.
-
Is there any chance to have this unit replaced anytime soon?
I'm still waiting since June 29!
-
The new units should be available within mid - end of September, the units from August were shipped to some customers but the manufacturing was too difficult for us due to a chipset which was too difficult to solder onto the board. We aim at a Yield rate of 100% (=100% good after assembly) when manufacturing those units everything less is a problem for us.
We have replaced that difficult part (updated the PCB) and are assembling the next units this week.
Sorry for the delay, but in order to assemble those units we also need to order all single parts which those tuners require.

Ok, thank you.
Waiting for a better product it's not a problem.
