Would it be possible to develop a plugin for VLC similar to ElGato EyeTV plugin? So we could use the really great VLC easily with your outstanding product?
I'm able to use the latest version VLC 2.0.3 using:
/opt/bin/mediaclient -m DVBT -f 770000000 -b 8
/opt/bin/mediaclient --cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 | /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC file:///dev/stdin
but it would nice if we were able to select the channel from inside VLC :-D

Mac driver not working for me.
I tried installing all of the above and only "sundtek_driver_macosx_120319.0600" would install on my MacOS 10.5.8. This installation doesn't seem to have added anything to my 'Applications' folder, so the screenshot above which shows 'MediaTV' running on a Mac Desktop is a mystery to me as there is no way of launching MediaTV. The installer added an 'opt' folder with some libraries but no application to make use of these.
Also, there is no documentation about which version of MacOS is required for each installation - so even if I needed an upgrade to make it work, I couldn't possible know.
Am I missing something?
cheers,
Frank

Just tested it on Mac 10.7.4 with a Macbook Air and it works fine here.
If you look at the installer it has a date included, the driver with the most recent date is the latest one (which obviously is the first one).
The installer only installs the driver at the moment, as for the playback you need to use VLC or mplayer until MediaTV will be released.

Are there any news about MediaTV?
The driver works fine

MacOSX Installation (http://support.sundtek.com/index.php/topic,399.msg16093.html#msg16093)
it would be easier to manual tune in file manager style console app similar to Setup mode of OpenPCtv (https://sourceforge.net/p/openpctv/code/ci/master/tree/packages/setup/scripts/)

We have added our streamingserver to the MacOSX Package
